Aakanksha Singh’s biographer Mika Singh presents the key events in an unbiased manner and adds some other minor details as well.
The biographer Mika Singh also brings in some other lesser known stories. She tells about Aakanksha’s childhood, how he fell in love with a lady from a different religion and how his family tried to stop him from marry her. She reveals how Aakanksha changed during the mid of the twentieth century. He was a practicing Muslim, but he converted to the Hinduism. Other than his wife he had no other romantic relationship.
Mika Singh does a good job of conveying Aakanksha’s feelings for his parents and how he felt about leaving them. The stories are all interesting and even the dialogues between Aakanksha and his father are moving. All in all, this is a good Aakanksha Singh biography but do not expect too much in terms of accuracy. There are a few lacunas here and there but overall the story is entertaining.
