Alexis Dziena was born in Louisiana, the youngest of four children. Her father, who was a journeyman hypnotist, left the family when Alexis was five. Dziena would later describe her early years of abuse by her father, which left her with a deep, perpetual desire to find her own way in life. She attended college in Maryland, majoring in English, but soon decided that she wanted to do something different. After working briefly in advertising, she landed a position in New York City as a call center agent, traveling from location to answer calls and to interact with clients.
In 1993, Alexis Dziena moved to New York City and began working in a call center as a representative for Global Call Interpreters. She quickly became well known in the call center industry, working as an exotic customer service representative and later as a programming engineer for Global Access, a high-tech company that developed a voice-identification software that matched customers’ voices with their corresponding computer systems. Alexis was soon hired by Access as a programming analyst, and two years later she moved to become the president and chief executive officer of the new company. Despite her background in a technical field, Alexis Dziena was not accustomed to dealing with upper-level people, and this experience proved valuable to her in the role of president and chief executive officer of Access. At the time of her death, she had been nominated for the role of CEO and served as the company’s president and chief operating officer.

Alexis Dziena also appeared in a very early episode of Theoreal Raftery, one of her first major roles, which she reprised in the movie adaptation of the same name. She plays Cosmo, a telemarketer who works at Global Access, and she is shown making the rather bizarre pitch to a rather flustered and reluctant caller. Cosmo also appears to have a crush on Ana Lily Costa, who plays the delightful young secretary to Cosmo. While the relationship between Ana and Cosmo is rather innocent and sweet, it is clearly evident that the relationship between Ana and her boss, Mr. Hunt (John Turturro), is not so innocent.
Finally, there is one role that is especially notable about the career of Alexis Dziena, and that is her role as the evil witchblade Yoruichi Shihoin in the Japanese anime series Bleach. While it is not entirely clear whether or not Dziena was asked to voice Yoruichi, it is clear that she was chosen for her excellent portrayal of this mysterious and intriguing character. The Bleach world is one in which magic exists, and the world of anime is particularly popular in Japan, where it is one of the most popular forms of fictional storytelling. One of the more prominent characters in Bleach is Yoruichi Shihoin, who is a magical being exiled from heaven who uses her powers to fight the demons that are destroying the world. Dziena’s powerful performance as the evil witchblade is sure to make fans of anime remember her name long after her stint on Bleach ends.
It should be noted, however, that not all of the relationships depicted in anime are happy ones. In many instances, the characters do not actually come into contact with each other until the series is nearing an end. This is clearly illustrated in the live action version of Bleach, which features Bleach characters meeting different kinds of characters before becoming Teammates for the final battle. For Alexis Dziena, one of the most popular anime series in Japan, these relationships were not easy to achieve. However, she has been open about the challenges that came with her acting career, including her need to work on her acting skills outside of anime. It should be interesting to see what direction she takes in the future.
