Born in Hyderabad, Anjana Vasan was actually raised in Singapore. She earned a degree in economics at Raffles University, Singapore before moving to London to pursue a successful singing career. In the early nineties, Anjana Vasan was one of the most popular Singaporean actresses. She is best known for her roles in films such as The Bodyguard, Eat Pray Love, Man From U.N. Park and Singapore’s Got to Have It. Since then, Anjana Vasan has gone on to enjoy a fantastic success in both English and Indian films.

Anjana Vasan’s most famous role to date would be in the movie Man From U.N. Park, where she plays Ngoc Hui Tuan, a Singaporean businessman who flees the country with his family in order to avoid serving time for his crime. In this role, Anjana Vasan not only displayed great talent as a singer and actress, but also did a good job of portraying a character that showed good moral fibre. Throughout the ages, Singaporean cinema has produced some of the finest Bollywood movies, which have been hugely popular among the masses. Anjana Vasan is best known for her lovable character of the Bodyguard in the immensely popular movie Man From U.N. Park.
