Ann Morgan Guilbert was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is one of two children of Jerry Guilbert, an oil prospector and author of such works as The Great Oil Emergency, and The Oil Dealers. She is also a granddaughter of Royalties Co. founder W.B. Crocker, who was also an oilman. Ann grew up in California, which as a child was where her love of television began. Her earliest memories are of watching reruns of her father’s series, The Love Boat.
Ann Morgan Guilbert was one of those daughters who enjoyed dressing up and moving around in high style before growing up in a home where formal attire wasn’t appropriate. She was in fact a mischievous and boisterous girl who loved to make mischief on stage and in the classroom. She dropped out of high school after only one semester at Pacific University. However, she would end up earning a degree in theater while living in New York City, traveling to Europe, and eventually returning to California to study acting.

She also appeared in ‘All about Eve,’ as the evil Queen that Charlie Chanel cast off to be a pawn in his scheme to take over the British crown. These roles helped Ann Morgan Guilbert secures the role of Dick Tracy’s sidekick in the first version of ‘Trainspotting,’ earning her fellow cast members’ roles in the following three movies in the series.
Now, the third installment of the Train franchise, Ann Morgan Guilbert plays herself once more in the third movie in the series. This time, Ann has been brought into the limelight as the main character, a press agent for the fictionalized “Trainspotting” firm. Ann has spent her days reliving the scenes from her past movies, trying to figure out what happened to her parents when their business collapsed in 1928. Her boss, played by Gary Oldman, tries to convince her to take the story as an assignment for the newspaper. But Ann refuses, stating that she’ll be writing about herself and not her past.
Ann Morgan Guilbert has appeared in many television shows over the years, which can be seen on either network or cable channels. Some of her most notable credits include ‘My Sister Sam’, ‘Raising Helen’, ‘The Perfect Score’, and ‘Happy Days With Jones’. She is also sometimes credited as being the live-in sister of American singer and actress Elvis Presley, who often performed with her in concerts.
The first episode of ‘Trainspotting’ featured Adam Lambert as the lead character, while Morgan played his friend, Maddy. Ann played the older sister, while Lambert’s character was played by John Aston. The movie went on to become one of the most successful films of its year, grossing more than three hundred million dollars worldwide. Its success would continue with the following year’s sequel, ‘Trainspotting: The Movie,’ which starred Britain’s own Three Lions and the same team of executives would oversee the next two films in the series, ‘achusaras’ and ‘Reindeer Games.’
