An accomplished actress who has gone from small-town girl to Hollywood glamour girl, Baker has appeared in some of the most memorable films of her career. Her two best films to date include “All about Eve”, which was a box office hit with its release in 1998, and the thriller “Man on the Moon” with Jack Nicholson. She had a supporting role in the critically acclaimed “Windtalkers” opposite James Stewart, which was later made into a film of the same name, and featured Baker as a replacement for Lisa Marie Craig as the head of a satellite station. Following her appearance in that film, she went on to play the cynical and sultry FBI agent Dana Scully in the TV series “The X Files”.

For anyone familiar with her work in television, it is not surprising that one would associate Carroll Baker with the world of film industry. She first joined the world of movies when she was cast as the cynical and slightly mysterious FBI agent Dana Scully in the successful “X Files”. From there, she went on to appear in the hit film “Deep Cover”. She is currently the shows lead character and appears in the spinoff TV series “Outcast” with Jason Deries. For someone who has become such a seasoned actor and actresses, it is amazing that she still has not received a Best Actress award from the Oscars, although she should.

One other aspect of Carroll Baker’s career that people may not be aware of is her involvement with a group called the International Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ISPCA). In recent years, Ms. Baker has taken part in speaking out for animal rights, having been a strong supporter of the efforts to eliminate cruelty to animals in general. In the last few months, she has also started writing articles for the ISPCA’s website, which has given her an increased platform to make some positive change in the world. So while we may never know exactly what the star of “E.T.” will be up to next, she has definitely made herself more famous and more well-known than ever before.
