Christa B. Allen was born November, 1924, in Wildomar, California. She is today known by her adopted name “Christa”, a combination of her birth name and her given name. She is the youngest of four children, with two older stepmothers and four younger brothers. Her parents were divorced when she was six years old and her stepmother, although she was not particularly close to Christa, gave her the nickname “Tinkerbell” because of her “magical” skills. She also made several guest appearances on the series as well. Her extensive filmography also includes “How I Live Now”, “The Perfect Score” and “The Game”. Prior to “The Perfect Score”, Allen had guest spots on “ER”, “Law and Order”, “The X-Files” and “Heroes”.

Christa B. Allen has gone on to star in many other successful television shows, including “Raising Helen” for which she received an Emmy award for. Her notable supporting role on this show was the characterizations of her two daughters, who were played by Constance Wilson and Michael Chiklis respectively. She later went on to play the title role in the movie “Catch Me If You Can” which was directed by Steven Soderbergh. In the film, Allen’s character tries to catch a killer after he steals her mother’s wedding ring.

Her later years were focused on her memoir “Wings” which chronicled her early life and her relationships throughout it all. It was later turned into a play and later a film starring Anne Hathaway and Leonardo DiCaprio.
