One of Ever Carradine’s first roles was in the musical drama One Hundred Best Places. This was part of a revival of Old Time Blues, which was first screened in theaters in 1941 and later became a popular motion picture. This is definitely one of the more notable of Ever Carradine’s illustrious film roles and it must have given her Hollywood agent’s lots of chills as they were probably looking forward to casting this young upstart as a star in their movies. Ever Carradine would end up playing the same role in four other films that either were produced by Universal Pictures or were directed by Richard Curtis.

In the late 1940s Ever Carradine made her first appearance in a silent film called Silent Bob Strike Back. She plays the role of an actress who appears to be in charge of the entire strike team of the resistance against the evil Bobblehead doll. Ever Carradine had already gained the notice of Hollywood with her performance in Remember Me, Here There and Everywhere. This is another film which was produced by Universal Pictures and which starred Ever Carradine along with George C. Scott and Joe Mantegna.

After the war Ever Carradine went on to play the lead role in arguably one of the best picture ever to be released in the United States, Grease. This film provided yet another large fan base for the actress and which led to her being considered for many other famous roles in Hollywood. She went on to appear in such movies as Sabrina, Pretty Woman, Come As You Are, A Few Good Men, A Face in the clouds, Grease II, and Who’s That Girl. This list would continue to grow with such movies as Romance, Sunday, Bloody Mary, Irene, and As Good As It Gets.

One movie that cannot be overlooked when discussing the career of Ever Carradine would have to be the animated film called Bubbles. This is the film that won the Academy Award for Best Music and Film, and which also boasts one of the greatest casts of all time. The movie itself is about a young girl who is sent away to live in a crazy old house with a gang of misfits. Among the notable characters are Mark Linn-Baker, John Aston, and Linda Danziger.
