Jessica Cauffiel was born in California. She is a graduate of Occidental College. Jessica Cauffiel was raised in Southern California. Her parents are divorced when she was young and she was adopted by two boys from Hong Kong. Jessica’s adoptive parents were both musicians. Jessica attended the University of Southern California before getting a degree in communications.
Jessica Cauffiel was twenty years old when she appeared in the film Chicago, playing the role of Rosemary. This was one of her many film appearances, since she went on to star in numerous movies throughout the 1980s. In 1990, Jessica Cauffiel was cast in the musical comedy Lemonade according to the New York Times. This show helped kick off Cauffiel’s long and illustrious career, which would take her from a small town in California to bigger cities like Michigan, New Jersey, and New York City. Jessica Cauffiel then became well known as Muffy Brannigan in the television series Happy Days, in which she played the character of sweet yet cranky girlfriend. Here, she plays the role of Meg, a single mother who decides to go back to school after her divorce from Richard Cook. Jessica Cauffiel portrays a foul-mouthed single mother who is obsessed with making Meg happy and keeping her away from her ex-husband.
