Howards End also chronicles the rise of the Stern household from Depression to wealth in the 1930s.
Secret Pleasure – This is a Mia Farrow vehicle which depicts the affair between an aging former first lady and a Hollywood tycoon. In this film, Mia is seen as a willing participant, which in itself is a remarkable feat in the history of actress. Directed by Sam Simon, the film depicts the president’s wife and her confidant going through a secret ceremony on the beach. It is based on the life of Anna Custard, who was the president’s personal assistant. This is yet another film that showcases the prowess of Mia Farrow.
