Nadiya Moidu is a Nigerian writer. She is known for her two novels, One Degree, and Big, Beautiful Dream. Nadiya was born in Lagos, Nigeria. She studied medicine at university in Nigeria, but eventually decided to pursue a career in fiction writing. This led her to penning fantasy novels set in Africa.

Nadiya Moidu was married to Idiagdon Mabuni when she was nineteen years old. They were married for fourteen years and parted when Idiagdon died of a heart attack at their home one year later. Nadiya then married Okonkwo Okata who was thirty years older. Okonkwo was also born in Lagos. Nadiya was already active in politics at this point as she had worked for the United Nations. Nadiya Moidu finally became a doctor after the death of Okonkwo.
Nadiya Moidu bore three children, all of which are fathered by Okonkwo. These were her last babies. Nadiya Moidu was not an active mother during her pregnancy and she carried the baby to full term, which is considered to be twenty months after the baby’s birth. Nadiya Moidu breastfeeds her children according to standard African breastfeeding guidelines. She has also stated that she does not nurse her babies under any other circumstances.
Nadiya Moidu was born in Lagos and grew up in Kano, Nigeria. She was a very attractive woman with dark skin, large breasts, and a full yet perky hourglass figure.
