Nargis’s real name is Hoda Saghi. Hoda is an honorific that represents “womanhood”. Hoda was Nargis’s middle name, and in addition to her acting she has also acted in television, theatre, commercials, and other performing arts. She is the latest Pakistani film actress to receive the best actress award at an international film festival. This is the only country in the world to have two prominent female film actresses in its canon.
