Salma Agha is an award winning Pakistani actress and singer who rose to international fame in the late 80s and early 90s. Born in Karachi, she grew up in London. Salma Agha was inspired by Indian cinema stars like Mona Lisa and Rajkumar. She later went on to play roles in TV serials and movies, including Happy Days, Father’s Day, Absolutely Serious, Saturday Night Fever and ERASM, as well as appearing in a number of English-language films.
Salma Agha was a member of the cast of the popular television show, Q & A. She later went on to star in a number of other popular shows, most notably odder British sitcom, Dad’s Army, which was a spinoff of the hit British sitcom, Monty Python’s Flying Circus. Salma Agha also appeared in a number of Indian movies, most notably, Kismet Konnection, Om Shanti Om and Aashirbek, which won her two Filmfare Award nominations.
